Vincent C. Massina

Vincent C. Massina has served as the President of H.M. HUGHES COMPANY since 2009, bringing over four decades of unparalleled construction management expertise to the helm of the firm. He originally joined H.M. Hughes in 1978 as an Assistant Superintendent, rising through the ranks as Project Manager and Vice President before assuming executive leadership.

Under his direction, H.M. Hughes has solidified its reputation as the premier general contractor for highly sophisticated, high-stakes medical, institutional, and commercial environments. Vincent’s hands-on engineering background and steadfast dedication to client collaboration have been instrumental in driving the firm’s growth and maintaining multi-decade corporate relationships.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College, establishing a legacy of deep engineering precision that guides every project H.M. Hughes undertakes.

Alvin D. Doyle

Alvin D. Doyle has served as Vice President of H.M. HUGHES COMPANY since 1995, overseeing construction operations, cost estimation, and project delivery frameworks. Alvin’s connection with the firm spans more than 50 years, having originally joined as a laborer and assistant superintendent in 1972.

His comprehensive career includes leadership roles in clinical healthcare retrofits, laboratory biosafety systems, and heavy municipal utility projects across the New York area.

He holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Construction Management from Pratt Institute and an Associate in Applied Science in Construction Technology from New York City Technical College, combining real-world field experience with academic engineering excellence.

John Kluz serves as the General Superintendent of H.M. HUGHES COMPANY, bringing a master builder’s mindset and over twenty years of complex field management to the role. John is responsible for directing on-site superintendents, coordinating specialty subcontractors, and enforcing H.M. Hughes’ zero-tolerance safety policies.

John’s specific mastery lies in medical oncology environments, particularly the installation of high-energy Linear Accelerator (Linac) cancer treatment suites, PET scanners, and MRI machines, as well as complex structural concrete cutting and radiation shielding.

He completed a rigorous 4-year Carpentry Apprenticeship with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and is recognized for his expert understanding of radiation shielding, structural engineering, and medical MEP synchronization.

Jeff M. Baker

Jeff M. Baker is a Project Manager at H.M. HUGHES COMPANY, known for his energetic leadership, organizational precision, and direct client relationship management. Jeff was promoted to Project Manager following outstanding performance as Field Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.

Jeff specializes in clinical medical renovations, corporate office interiors, and heavy life-safety systems. His thorough understanding of hospital compliance protocols (ICRA, dust containment, noise suppression) allows him to successfully manage critical renovations in highly sensitive, fully operating medical environments.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from LIU Post in Brookville, NY, providing him with a unique focus on environmental health and clean-air protocols that are highly beneficial for sterile clinical builds.
